Our Story

The 2026 10U Southeastern Crush has accomplished the goal they set from day one—earning a trip to the Cal Ripken 10U World Series. Since beginning practices in September 2025, this group has worked tirelessly with one mission in mind: qualify for the World Series. After winning both the State Championship and the OVR Regional Championship, they've done exactly that.

From August 6–16 in Stafford, Virginia, the Crush will compete against 32 of the best Cal Ripken teams in the world for a chance to bring home the 2026 World Series title. This opportunity is the culmination of nearly a year of hard work, perseverance, and commitment from every player on the roster.

This achievement is also a testament to the leadership and countless hours invested by coaches Leo New, Patrick McCowan, Chris Walker, and Ben Walker. Their dedication has helped shape not only better baseball players, but a team built on discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

It would not have been possible without the incredible commitment of the families who have spent the past ten months traveling, cheering, volunteering, and supporting these young athletes every step of the way. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has donated and supported this team, helping make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.

No matter the outcome in Virginia, the 2026 Southeastern Crush has already accomplished something special. They are proud to represent their families, their community, and everyone who has been part of this incredible journey.

Where Your Support Goes

Every dollar raised goes directly toward getting our players to Stafford, Virginia — and we're committed to being responsible with all of it.

Lodging is by far our biggest cost. We're required to be on-site in Stafford for 10 days, and with only about two weeks to prepare, the hotel bill is a real burden on a lot of our families. This is where most of your support goes, and every dollar makes a big difference in what we're able to do.

Funds also help cover team meals. We plan to share team dinners at the hotel — and likely grill out together a few nights — so the players stay fed, together, and focused without the cost of eating out for every meal.

Bottom line: we're trying to stretch every dollar that's raised and donated so this team can make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
